Patchen Technologies LLC is a one-person software company in Watertown, New York. I build tools in two areas I work in every week: network infrastructure and public safety.

Products come from problems I hit on real networks and as a volunteer firefighter — not from guessing. The bar is simple: ship something I can stand behind.

What I focus on

On the network side: a browser utility suite (ProbeToolkit) and an upcoming AI-assisted SSH/telnet client (Conduit). On the public-safety side: dispatch coverage wherever it’s live, starting with Jefferson County and adding more (DispatchDB), local county information (Jefferson County Fire Wire), tone capture that feeds DispatchDB (CrossTone), and a fire-department pilot (Runcard).

How I work

One-person operation on purpose. That keeps me close to the people who use what ships — and nothing goes out that I can't personally support.
