Patchen Technologies LLC is a one-person software company based in Watertown, New York. I design and build practical tools in two areas I know firsthand: network infrastructure and public safety.

The work is grounded in day-to-day operations. The products come out of real problems I've run into while working on networks and supporting emergency services — not from guessing at what those problems might be. That's why the tools tend to be simple, dependable, and built to survive field conditions rather than demo conditions.

What I focus on

On the network side, I build tools for engineers and technicians who live at the command line — terminals, diagnostics, and utilities that make working on infrastructure faster and safer. On the public-safety side, I build information and alerting systems that help departments and communities stay informed and organized.

How I work

Patchen Technologies is a one-person operation on purpose. That keeps me close to the people who actually use what I ship — and it means nothing goes out the door that I can't personally stand behind.
